Bingo Supplies

In order to play bingo in a land bingo hall, a person must come equipped. To be equipped to play land bingo means different supplies for different players. All players need the basic equipment, but, some players go above and beyond and bring the whole artillery.

The bingo supplies that a player MUST have is simple. A bingo dauber and bingo cards. Yes, that's all you need. A bingo dauber is a marking tool. It is a small container filled with ink and a sponge head used to mark your bingo cards. Bingo cards are now made out of paper. Most paper bingo cards contain 9 cards per sheet. Each sheet has an identifiable number on it so that the bingo hall can input the number into their machine to confirm that it is a winner. All a bingo player has to do is dab the card with their dabber when the bingo number is called.

Ok, so now you want to know what else to bring with you. The bingo supplies that I will recommend are not necessary but I have found them to be very useful:

Pen - So you can fill out your raffle tickets
Gluestick - So you can glue numerous bingo paper cards together
Staple remover - So you can remove the staples that all bingo halls use to put together the packages
Tape - So you can tape together the paper bingo cards if your gluestick is all dried up.
Candle - So you can smell something nice instead of cigarette smoke
Seat Cushion - So your bingo butt is comfortable.
Bingo Angel Pin - So you have an angel on your side.
Trolls/Beanies - A bingo must. All bingo players have a troll/beanies or two or 50
Pictures - For luck I always bring the kids, grandkids and hubby with me
See thru Markers - So you can put one on the number that you are waiting for to call Bingo
Deck of Cards and Poker Chips - So you can do something while waiting for Bingo to start.
Munchies - I prefer m&ms
Clothespin or something like it - To hold all your papers together in a nice neat pile
Bingo Bag - A HUGE ONE to hold all your bingo supplies.

So as you can see, as an avid land bingo player, your list of supplies can be as short or in my case, long, as you want it to be. Take what is necessary but take what makes you happy too. GOOD LUCK.
