Bingo Card Buying Strategies from a Players Point of View
After years of playing on line bingo, I have met a lot of bingo roomies in chat. If you notice sometimes it seems like some people win bingo over and over in a short period of time. I know I have definitely noticed. I have polled as many online bingo players as I can about how they buy their cards. The answers were very diverse. So here is what I have been told by the bingo players I chatted with.
This really depends on how much money you have in your bingo account, and how much you are willing to spend per game.
Some bingo players told me that they buy lots of cards every game. They either buy the same amount of cards each time, or they mix it up a little and add or subtract more bingo cards. They feel this way their odds of winning are much greater when they do this.
Others buy the minimum amount of cards and play lots more games. These bingo players feel that it only takes one card to win, and that if they play more games, they will increase the odds in their favor. They get more games for their buck, and eventually they will get a bingo.
A few bingo players told me that they buy bingo cards for a set amount of games and then as the games are about to play they buy more cards.
Then there are the people who max every game. Max means buying the maximum amount of bingo cards they will allow per game, usually one hundred. Personally I think this a good way to lose all your money really fast, but the maxxers told me they win a lot. They did however tell me that they lose more money than they win on bingo and unless they hit a big bingo jackpot, they wind up breaking even or losing a little.
Bingo roomies have told me that they buy only a few cards per game until they see a bingo pattern that the like, and then they buy lots of cards for that pattern. Or wait until a big bingo jackpot and then buy a lot of cards for that particular game.
There are also bingo players who put their game on auto buy. This means you can purchase bingo cards automatically for however many bingo games you decide, whether you are home or not. You do not have to be logged on the computer. By placing your game on auto buy, the games will automatically play for you. Some bingo players swear by this method. The only down side to auto buy is that you can only buy the same amount of cards for each bingo game that is played. But if you go put your bingo game on auto buy and go to bed, you may wake up to a lot more money if you are lucky to win a few bingo games over night. Not every on line bingo site has auto buy, so you have to look around for one that does if you prefer to use this method.
When you are playing on line bingo there are many different ways you can go.
Some people buy a whole bunch of games then log off and come back later. Others buy bingo cards for each game as it is about to begin. I have tried that one myself. Waiting until the very last second before the bingo game starts to purchase cards.
I’ve tried them all, even the quick pick method, where the computer buys the cards for you. I’ve done auto buy, pre buy, I have even maxed on a few bingo games. Sometimes I win, sometimes I lose. Every bingo player has a method that they use to buy bingo cards in the hopes of winning big.
Another method or purchasing cards that I have tried is only buying in odd number quantities. Some feel that the odd card out is their lucky card. Other players will only buy cards in multiples of 7 such as 7 14 or 21 cards.
Whether you buy bingo cards for an hour or two, or purchase cards game by game is just your personal preference.
Whatever strategy you use to buy your bingo cards, it truly is all luck. It really does only take that one lucky bingo card to win. But if you feel your method of buying bingo cards increases your odds of winning then go for it. Good luck!
